Students

ACA students are ages 4 to 13 who have within normal limits or above IQ's.

ACA students have diagnosis of dyslexia, langauge delay, ADHD, apraxia, sensory processing disorder, and/or specific learning disability.  ACA students are "bright and gifted but learn differently" and therefore require a small teacher student ratio (1:6) that offers explicit, intensive and individualized instruction from highly qualified credentialed teachers to learn.

In order to attend ACA a student must be verbal (talk), ambulatory (walk), indpendent for eating, tolieting, and community outings as well as have the ability to attend and participate in small and large group instruction.  The student cannot require 1:1 assistance or have a behavior disorder that is disruptive, harms themselves or others.
