ACA Students, Witness History in The Making and Meet Governor Hutchinson!

Yesterday...... what an absolute great day for our students! ACA Class I and II, and some of our families, headed to the AR State Capitol to learn about our AR government, explore the building, see the grounds, and meet Governor Asa Hutchinson. Governor Hutchinson had signed a proclamation for the Awareness of Apraxia and we were a part of the commemorative celebration. Apraxia Awareness Day is May the 14th. (For more information about Apraxia please check out the Apraxia Kids of AR Facebook page).

After climbing many stairs, walking all the floors and seeing all the offices and rooms we climbed more stairs to make it to the Governor's office and official room where we met Governor Hutchinson and were photographed with the Apraxia Awareness proclamation. Our students had the opportunity to meet and talk to the Governor as he knelled down to visit and take a photo with them. WOWza!

Once we were finished with our official business at the Capitol we drove straight to Pinnacle State Park for a picnic, playground fun and walk in the woods to view God's AR splendor.

ACA is blessed to have so many FABulous opportunities for our students to experience as well as our staff and families. God's provisions are more than any of us can imagine or ask for.
