ACA Student's Show Audience How To RaiseThe Roof!

“Be still and know that I am God!”  Undoubtedly, God’s presence was felt at ACA’s recent fine arts production of “He’s Got the Whole World In His Hands” that was performed at Summit Church on April 25th.  Students aligned in rows with a blue- lit stage to open the program with prayer and song. Small ACA dance groups performed complex modern dance numbers that included the use of coordinating yoga balls and rhythmical timing to musical chants and songs.  Students introduced each part of the program with memorized scripture that depicted God’s love and perfect timing.  Encouraging words were given by Karen Black, which exemplified Psalm 46:10. The finale was a surprising rendition of “How Great Thou Art” where ACA students awed the audience wearing red choir robes and where they featured solos of dance and song.  Our students did an outstanding job of taking the stage and showing off their confidence, skills, and talents.

Following the show, parents and friends had the opportunity to support the school financially by purchasing items at the silent auction as well items from the ACA store, which included ACA Turvis Tumblers, coffee cups, and necklaces.  This annual event is designed to publically give God all the thanks for what He has done in and through our students and school.  We could not have done this event without the help of many of our parents and staff.  We are thankful to all of those who attended and hope that you experienced the love and knowledge of a God who desires to know you and be known throughout the world.
