ADMISSIONS
Aspire Christian Academy begins our admissions process by completing our Phone Intake Form. Parents will know from the initial contact if their child is appropriate for our school. We are able to give you this immediate feedback from our specific criteria that is the minimum skill level that each student must meet to even continue the process of admissions.
Parents who know their student is appropriate by meeting the criteria and are interested in enrolling their student at Aspire Christian Academy will first complete the Student Admissions Application and return to us with a $25.00 non refundable application fee.  After receipt of the application, our staff will compile the information onto our Summary for Academic Programming in order to analyze all aspects of the student’s information. Once this is completed and reviewed a diagnostic time will be set for our staff to observe the student in our classroom setting. The staff who is leading the diagnostic time with your child will complete our Diagnostic Staff Checklist so that immediate feedback can be given to the parents. After the diagnostic time, ACA staff will meet with parents as soon as time allows to give results and recommendations.  ACA shall admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the Academy.  ACA does not discriminate on basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and athletic and other Academy-administered programs.

ACA Model
Our Biblical Educational Model is taught across all environments: classroom, community and home. We serve grades one (1) through five (5). Our model also addresses all six domains of health and wellness:  social, emotional, environmental, intellectual, physical and spiritual.

Academic Education Curriculum:
1.    Literacy Programs – Orton Gillingham, Sequential English Education® (SEE) The DuBard Association Method®, Lindamood Bell®:  Talkies, Visualizing and Verbalizing, Seeing Stars, and LIPS, Montessori activities, staff      created multisensory literacy language curriculum and biblically based life skills training.
2.    Math Programs – Multisensory Math
3.    Supplemental Curriculum – Applying the academics to functional skills
4.    Behavior – if a student’s behavior is disruptive and interfers with learning then it must be addressed immediately.  ACA uses  ACT Right, a staff developed program that teaches the student how to learn self-control in all situations.
5.    Therapy – Speech-language, occupational and/or physical therapy that addresses specific developmental delays. The student must qualify for therapy using standardized testing and following medical guidelines.
6.    Spiritual – as a Christian based school we incorporate Biblical principles into everything we do with the students throughout the day.  We have daily devlotional time as well as singing praise and worship music.
7.    Parent Trainings – equipping and educating families so their child is successful at home, school and in the community
